We do not recommend cooling the stainless steel mug in a water bath or submerging it in water. Water can enter the outer wall into the double-walled space through the points where the carabiner is attached to the stainless steel mug. The stainless steel mug loses its insulating property as soon as water enters this space in the stainless steel mug.
