Transfer films mostly consist of polyurethane (PU) with a hot-melt adhesive layer and are cut precisely with the cutting plotter before they are transferred to the textile using a heat press. A suitable film thickness is decisive for a precise cutting result and good adhesion to the textile.
The typical use of a transfer film is clearly structured:

- Excess film material is removed (weeding)

The Nova-Flex 1000 Premium (90 µm, 94 colors) and the Nova-Flex 1500 LowTemp (SKU 1500-02, 85 µm, 93 colors) are available to you as everyday films, complemented by the perforated Nova-Flex 1300 PU Perforated (SKU 1300-01) for sportswear applications.
Typical characteristics are:
- Certification to STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® for the Premium and LowTemp variants
- Washing temperatures from 40°C (LowTemp, gentle) to 95°C (Premium, black/white)
- Perforated version with holes about 1 mm in size for a breathable sportswear look
