The quality of the prints is stunning, as all the advantages of UV direct printing are retained, even though it is technically a transfer print. How does this work? Simple - because the A-foil of the Magic Foil has an adhesive coating to which you apply your UV direct print in the conventional way. Now you cover the A-foil together with the printed design with a B-foil and press them firmly together (ideally with a cold laminator).
Before applying the design to an object that is either heat-sensitive or bulky, remove the A-foil, allowing the adhesive that lies at the underside of the white ink to spring into action. Once the design has been applied, just press lightly and the B-foil can be removed. The design is transferred, done!
With the Magic Foil you can use all the advantages of UV direct printing and produce stickers that can also be applied to unshapely, fragile, too large or too heavy objects. Think of logos, inscriptions, decorations, artistic effects and much more. You don't need heat or a transfer press. Magic Foil makes it possible.
Recognition of the A- or B-foil:
The clear film is the A-foil and the "white" (only the protective film is white) film is the B-foil
Processing instructions:
- Several layers of white, one layer of colour and one layer of varnish should be printed
- Full-surface designs can be transferred very well. Fine lettering and fine lines are more tricky
- There are two different types of UV-ink, flexible and hard UV-ink. The foils can only be processed with hard UV-ink
- Do not mirror the design when printing UV-MAG-A3-
