Isopropyl Alcohol 99.9%, pharmaceutical grade – cleans, degreases, leaves nothing
behind
The surface decides the outcome of a print. Fingerprints, dust, release agents from production, invisible films of
grease: whatever sits on the substrate ends up between ink and material – and that is exactly where adhesion
fails.
Isopropyl alcohol dissolves these residues and then evaporates completely. No film, no streaks, no cleaner
residue to interfere with the primer or the ink. Cleaning before priming and before printing is therefore one of the
steps with the best effort-to-effect ratio there is.

Pharmaceutical grade at 99.9%
The difference to hardware-store grade lies in what isn't in it. Technical-grade isopropyl alcohol contains
accompanying substances and water content that can remain on the surface. Pharmaceutical grade at 99.9% is
free of these – which is why it is also suitable for optical cleaning work on the printing system, for instance on
sensors, encoder strips and housing parts.

Matched to the Mutoh® XPJ series
We list this isopropyl alcohol as a consumable for the UV direct printing systems Mutoh® XPJ 461UF, 661UF
and 1462UF. It fits into the workflow of these machines – from substrate preparation before priming through to
cleaning inside the unit – and complements the primers for glass, metal and plastic from the same range.

Closure without spray insert
The bottle can be dosed freely. Pour directly onto a wipe or decant into your own spray bottle instead of being
tied to a fixed insert.
