Replacement chip for the cartridges of the Epson WorkForce 5390 – so your cartridges keep running once the factory-fitted chip has counted down.
What the chip does The chip reports the cartridge fill level to the printer. Once it has counted down, the system treats the cartridge as empty – regardless of how much ink is actually left. With a fresh chip, the cartridge carries on.
Capacity: 100 ml This replacement chip is rated for 100 ml. After that volume you simply swap it for a new one – a single step, with no tools and no intervention in the machine.
Note on the starter pack The cartridges in the starter pack come with a factory-fitted chip rated at 100 ml, while the cartridge itself holds 250 ml. The cartridge is therefore used up before the chip has counted down – which is why no replacement chip is included with the starter pack.
