The 5W IR laser module turns your xTool P3 into a dual-laser system: CO₂ for wood, acrylic and similar materials, infrared for everything a CO₂ laser cannot process cleanly.
Metal absorbs the 1064 nm wavelength far more efficiently. Stainless steel, aluminium, brass and opaque plastics can be engraved with permanent, high-contrast results – no marking spray or pre-treatment required.
A short pulse duration of 4 ns and peak power of up to 65 kW deliver clean, sharply defined marks – ideal for tool and component marking, nameplates, jewellery and personalised gift items.
Installation takes only a few minutes: the air-cooled module mounts onto the P3's guide rail and draws power directly from the main unit, so no additional power supply is needed. Select the IR module in xTool Creative Space and you are ready to go.
